Looking for a relaxing, affordable vacation?  Discover Bull Shoals Lake in the Heart of the Ozarks!

Rocky Hollow Lodge is the perfect base camp for launching day trips on Bull Shoals Lake, the White River or Buffalo River.
Also, day trips to Eureka Springs and Blanchard Spring Caverns are popular destinations from here in Bull Shoals. If you like cave tours, the Mystic and Cosmic Caverns are also both close enough to see in one day, as well as Bull Shoals' own cave tour right here in town!
We also offer a beautiful Theater of the Arts with live performances year round and a professional 18 Hole Golf Course right on the river.  For big city fun, Silver Dollar City and the many shows in Branson, Missouri are also easily reached in little more than an hour.
If you're thinking of visiting the area for the first time, Rocky Hollow Lodge offers you a spacious three bedroom vacation home and six two bedroom cabins to choose from.  Family Reunions are welcome!  We can help you plan your family event of any size prior to your arrival.
The Main Lodge is a 3 bdrm 1 bath vacation home w/ a king, queen and two twin beds and plenty of comfortable living space.  It sits above the playground overlooking the six family size Cabins.  Each cabin has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, they are fully furnished w/color cable tv.
Kitchens are stocked with gas stove, freezer/refridgerator, pots, pans, and utensils.  We also provide paper products including paper towels and bathroom tissue.  We have propane and electric heat in the cabins and central heating w/fireplace in the lodge and plenty of free firewood. All the cabins and lodge have AC for year round comfort.
Rocky Hollow Lodge is hidden in a secluded, wooded hollow well away from main roads, yet everything you need is close by.  Our private dock on the the lakeshore is just a short stroll from the cabins. You may easily walk just a few blocks to stores, banks and restaurants.
Rocky Hollow Lodge is perfect for family vacations, parties or large groups.  These seven units total 27 beds in 15 bedrooms that will sleep up to 49 persons.  Family reunions are welcome!  For couples, Cabin 4 is the perfect choice for that romantic getaway.
For families on a budget with up to 8 or 9 persons, we have mid size cabins with extra beds, larger kitchens and bathrooms at competitive year round rates.
Rocky Hollow Lodge is family oriented!  Kids love the playground, the pool and roasting marshmallows at night.  We have 3 acres of well kept grounds that offer lots of space to chase lightning bugs.
As part of our lodging services we offer a special ceremony practiced for thousands of years called the Sunset Ceremony.   This daily 'family reunion' was important to our ancestors way of life, by using the oral tradition of storytelling to preserve family history, passing down important names, places and events to the younger generations.

                                                                      The Sunset Ceremony
For folks who may be interested we share this ceremony because it is very much like our modern day 'family reunion'.  We gather together in a circle of stones under the wide spread limbs of this magnificent tree much like families did centuries ago.  The circle is sacred as it represents the continuance of life.  The Family Reunion is a sacred time for coming together to honor family heritage.

This Sunset Ceremony emphasizes the importance of family values by using the Seven Directions, each symbolized by its own principles to living well;   Strength, Integrity, Courage, Wisdom, Loyalty, Love and Forgiveness.  After the ceremony everyone gets a chance to take the 'talking stick' and speak in the center of the circle.  Kids really enjoy it!

It's a moment to express gratitude to each member of the family for anyone who wishes to take the 'talking stick'.  Its a chance to speak from their heart and say words that otherwise may not have a chance to be spoken.  Just inquire about participating and we will be happy to share this celebration of life with your family.
Rocky Hollow Lodge is a unique place in a great location for family reunions.   A place where kids can be kids, pets are welcome and everyone has something to do.  Or do nothing at all but enjoy the tranquil sounds of nature in the Ozarks.
Please take a look at our photo albums for seasonal shots of the cabins and grounds.  Check back for updates as we improve this website.   Please feel free to email us with suggestions or comments.
In the event we do not have an opening on your preferred dates, we are happy to refer you to the best accommodations possible.  We hope you will come to Bull Shoals Lake for your next family vacation vacation!
